Pasadena, California

My family traveled (by car) to Pasadena, California for the 2009 Rose Bowl Game.  This was a Christmas Gift from my parents to my brother and I.  It is easy to see that we are both dedicated to the Nittany Lions and their Football Program in particular.  It was a very interesting experience to get the opportunity to see a Nationally Recognized Bowl Game in person.  The outcome of the game was slightly disappointing, but it was very nice to see how well PSU was represented by the large contingency of fans in USC's backyard.  Driving the 2 days (1 way) was totally worth the experience, and seeing my roommate marching in the Tournament of Roses Parade was pretty cool.  Spending New Years on the opposite coast to what I am accustomed to was also a very unique experience, for a change it wasn't 2 degrees outside at midnight, instead it was a cool 60 degrees.  Another very enjoyable family vacation.
